Peer consultation
Consultation between colleagues of equal standing about demanding cases — a complement to supervision.
What it means
A group of therapists regularly presents their work to one another. As in supervision, without any details by which a client could be identified.
Why it matters
Because working alone leads to blind spots and to burnout. Regular consultation is a sign of seriousness, not of insecurity.
