The relationship comes first
Before the two of us can change anything together, we have to meet in a space where you feel heard, understood and accepted. For me, the therapeutic relationship is the foundation of everything else.
Compassionate, empathetic, focused on you and what you need. I don't arrive with ready-made recipes — I arrive with attention, curiosity and an honest wish to understand your world.
My work grows out of marriage and family therapy, which understands a person as part of the relationships and systems they live in. We are shaped by our early experiences, our family, our important relationships and unconscious patterns that we often do not recognise, yet which strongly shape how we experience the world and how we behave.
I believe there is no single answer in psychotherapy, and that therapeutic learning never really ends. Every person is different, so it matters that the two of us explore together what you in particular need and what can help you feel safer, calmer and more connected with yourself.

Pain we cannot put into words often shows up in our relationships, our conflicts and the way we react to other people. Once you recognise and understand those patterns, you have the chance to change them, step by step.
Feeling overwhelmed by emotion, emotional outbursts, and how to respond calmly and assertively even when that seems impossible.
For me, therapy is a search for more inner peace, more connection with yourself and with others — and above all, more freedom to choose how you want to live your life.
Everything you share stays between us. Without safety there is no depth — which is why confidentiality comes first.
No rushing, no pressure. We go as fast or as slowly as is right for you.
With me there are no wrong feelings. Whatever you bring is welcome and accepted.
We are not made of thoughts alone. I include the body, the emotions and the relationships — all of you.
You are the expert on your own life. I bring the professional knowledge — we find the answers together.
Regular supervision and continuous training — so that I can offer you the best I know.
The foundation of my work is marriage and family therapy. I complement it with what I have learned in other trainings — each one offers a different angle on the same question: what does this person in front of me need?
My core approach. I understand a person in the context of their relationships and the family they come from — never separately from their surroundings.
A one-year training in body psychotherapy. What we carry is not held in the mind alone — the body often says what we cannot yet put into words.
A genogram lays out the patterns and dynamics that repeat across generations. Once you see them on paper, they are easier to recognise in yourself.
I review my work regularly with a supervisor. For you that means practice that is checked, and a therapist who keeps on learning.
A therapist in training in marriage and family therapy, who believes real change happens in a safe, honest and respectful relationship. Before therapy I was an actor — and it was that path that taught me to listen to what goes unsaid.
