Individual therapy
A regular, safe and confidential space for you. Together we explore what weighs on you and find a way forward.
MoreI am Veronika Železnik, a marriage and family therapist in training (under supervision). Together we create a safe and warm space for understanding yourself and your family system, working through distress, and growing steadily and lastingly.
„Every person carries the strength to change within them, and I am here to help you make that decision.
The way back to yourself is not a straight line. Along the way there are obstacles and unhelpful patterns that keep the status quo in place — at the cost of forgetting who we are, what we want and where our boundaries lie, and of forgetting that we could live differently: more at ease, more confident, more settled.
In therapy the two of us do not look for quick answers, but for deeper understanding. Understanding brings calm, and calm makes room for new, healthier choices. We work at your pace, without judgement, with compassion and full attention.
About meI adapt every session to you and to where you are right now. Below are the main ways of working together.
A regular, safe and confidential space for you. Together we explore what weighs on you and find a way forward.
MoreA space for honest conversation, for feeling heard, and for restoring the connection between partners.
MoreShort-term support with a specific difficulty or a turning-point decision — planning a family, changing jobs, or a loss.
MoreWhen the balance in the system breaks down — illness, addiction, outbursts, disconnection — it is time for the family to reconnect.
MoreSeparation is stressful for the whole system. Together we lay new foundations for parenting and respectful communication.
MoreIn one longer, 90-minute session we walk through your family tree, bring the patterns into awareness and leave them in the past.
MoreYou don't have to name it all in advance. Still — you may recognise yourself in something here.
Restlessness, worry, panicky feelings, trouble sleeping and tension that takes away your peace.
When the body stops and cannot go on.
Working through loss, separation, illness and major life changes.
Recurring patterns, communication and boundaries in relationships.
Self-criticism, self-doubt and difficulty accepting your own body.
Feeling overwhelmed by emotion, emotional outbursts, and how to respond calmly and assertively even when that seems impossible.
Hard or repeated experiences that still echo in the body and in everyday life.
Scattered attention, putting things off and feeling overwhelmed — and finding a rhythm that suits you.
The aftermath of abuse in relationships, showing up in how you experience yourself and others today.
I believe in therapy that respects your pace. I don't come with ready-made recipes — I come with attention, curiosity and a genuine wish to understand your world.
I work within the marriage and family therapy approach, which understands a person in the context of their relationships and life experience. I am interested in how our ways of experiencing ourselves, others and the world were shaped through our relationships with those closest to us.
More about my approachTherapy is a process — safe, gradual and entirely confidential. This is how our path together usually unfolds.
We get to know each other and you tell me what brings you here. Together we decide whether we are the right fit for this path. No pressure.
We clarify what you want to change and what progress will look like. The goals stay yours — I walk alongside you.
Usually weekly, 50 minutes each. Step by step we explore patterns, feelings and new ways of being — through new experiences within the therapeutic relationship.
When you feel steadier and sense it is time to say goodbye, we close our work calmly — with tools that stay with you.
In your life and relationships, it is time to feel more lightness.
You don't have to carry it all on your own. Take the first step — and we'll go on together.

A therapist in training in marriage and family therapy who believes that real change happens in a safe and honest relationship.
For more than five years I have been training in marriage and family therapy, and now the time has come to walk alongside people on their paths through anxiety, burnout, grief and the search for meaning. My work rests on respect, discretion and solid professional knowledge.
Now and then I run small group workshops — a space for learning, connection and growing together.
Every conversation starts with a single message. I will gladly reply and together we will find a time that suits you.
