What it’s for

Every unsettled detail becomes an opportunity for conflict. Writing it down removes most of those opportunities.

What it contains

  1. The rhythm: where the child sleeps on which days, who drives, when the handover is.
  2. Communication: what you tell each other, and through which channel.
  3. Decisions: what each of you decides alone, what you decide together.
  4. Changes: how a change is requested, and with how much notice.
  5. What we don’t do: messages through the child, conversations about the other parent in front of them.

On why differentiation matters in relationships. Self-confidence starts with self-awareness. On how hard it is to start — and harder still to keep going.
